The Porch Light I Leave On

About the Book

This is the story of a Vietnam veteran haunted by PTSD who finds an unexpected chance at healing when his family sponsors a young Vietnamese refugee. Their love story unfolds against the backdrop of Kansas and suburban California, but the enduring scars of war and an Agent Orange-related illness threaten to tear them apart. A poignant exploration of love, loss, and sacrifice, it reveals that some bonds are strong enough to withstand even the most profound silence and the most significant distance.
